Lego Bricks Town

We were invited to attend an exhibition in the Maltings about ideas for building in Farnham. We thought it might be fun to involve local Farnham children in the exhibition and help them express their ideas about the future of the place they live in.

With the help of the RIBA, we arrange a couple of workshops at local schools. We were given two hours from the school timetable. We talked about how to design a house, the concept of scale and helped them to draw a building plan on paper. We then revealed a mountain of Lego bricks! The children produced some brilliant and colourful 3D models of their designs. We all had fun and the children produced some inspiring designs. They were enthusiastic, creative and excited about building. We displayed the models for the RIBA presentation at the Maltings.
